General Info

German-American-School is a New York State Board of Regents accredited German language after-school program in New York. We are a private, not for profit after-school program for children of all backgrounds. Our school was founded in 1892. Bilingual education German language classes for children to learn to speak. We offer programs for Kindergarten to grade 8, as well as a playgroup for 4-5 year-old children. No prior German knowledge is necessary. Our language programs are located in Manhattan, Queens and on Long Island. We are New York State accredited since 1911, and our tuition is very affordable. After 8th grade, we offer Advanced Placement German preparation. Students, whose scores are high enough, can receive college credit.
