Virginia Urology has the Largest Robotic Team in Virginia. Virginia Urology is currently one of 17 national research sites involved in High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) therapy for prostate cancer. Our center is the second leading national site in experience with this important new therapy which involves local heat energy in an outpatient setting. With nearly 40 highly-skilled physicians and specialists, we provide our patients with a comprehensive continuum of quality care. Virginia Urology also offers A Center for Incontinence & Pelvic Floor Reconstruction which is a comprehensive center for the treatment of female urinary incontinence, gynecology and pelvic floor prolapse.
