Operational for more than 140 years, GRTC Transit System is a nonprofit organization located in Richmond, Va., and provides transportation services and mobility solutions. GRTC Transit System provides fixed-route bus services and a range of specialized facilities such as CARE and C-VAN vehicles and RideFinders. Its CARE vehicles provide disabled persons with various facilities, such as accommodation of wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes, guide dogs and other mobility aids. GRTC Transit System s C-VANS provide seating capacities of more than 10 persons and it offers door-to-door transportation services. GRTC Transit System s division RideFinders is a nonprofit organization that provides a variety of transportation assistance services to clients.
