my company had a contract with a major outplacement firm for a project with my company. i found the company presented a workshop for a half an hour and spent the remaining time signing my transitioning employees on their website. THEN i found that ONE consultant were 'managing' 95 (that is ninety five!) of my transitioning employees! I found that less than 3% of transitioning employees were 're-employed' after a 6 months period. Not only the costs for OP but it increased our unemployment/cobra costs were up 86%!! The next round, I HAD to make a change!
