The company's asset portfolio consists of about 28,000 megawatts of power generation, 6,000 miles of electric transmission, about 6 trillion cubic feet equivalent of natural gas reserves and 7,900 miles of natural gas pipeline. Dominion s natural gas storage system has more than 965 billion cubic feet of storage capacity. Dominion also serves retail energy customers in nine states. Thomas F. Farrell II has been the chief executive officer of Dominion Resources for more than a year. He has been with the utilities company for over 11 years.
