      Saving Our Children Foundation is an organization of passionate believers who serve low-income and at-risk youth throughout the Houston, Harris County and Fort Bend County areas. We promote positive change and rehabilitative services that will lead youth to stability and self-sufficiency. Our focus is providing positive reinforcement in order to produce positive outcomes in our youth.

      Our major goals over the next year include: · Serving all of the Apollo 20 Schools (5 High Schools, 4 Middle Schools, 11 Elementary Schools - we would like to incorporate other schools in the Greater Houston/Fort Bend County area into the program) · Raising funds to purchase books and resources for the Apollo 20 Schools · Decreasing dropout rates · Decreasing homelessness amongst youth · Raising test scores Our major 5 year goal includes: · Offering a co-op program for youth who are interested in Arts & Entertainment · Offering summer workshops for youth interested in Arts & Entertainment · Opening a community outreach center and shelter for at-risk and homeless youth Books Up Streets Down The program encompasses an innovative way to engage music and youth, geared towards positive strides. Thru the program we ignite the youth to stay focused on school. The program revolves around the arts. We host events and bring volunteers to the schools to mentor youth and provide support to teachers and administration. Additionally, we host special events to raise community awareness and funds for the youth for books, resources, computer software and supplies. Saving Our Children Foundation (SOCF) offers a host of programs that we incorporate within the schools. More information on the programs we offer can be found on the SOCF Website.
