This company has been taking care of my pool since 2012. My pool got some stains on the bottom and this company recommended me to drain the pool. When they drained the pool the bottom got additional and different stains. They drained the pool twice and the problems was not resolved or fixed. I have been calling them for more than 2 months to get a solution, and up to date they have not taken actions to fix the problems that they created. I do not recommend this company.
We had lightning destroy many of our pool components. John figured out the most economic way to replace our components and at the same time upgrade our 10 yr+ system. He also took the time to educate me on how to use the system. Very pleased!
I am the owner of Aquatic Pool Specialists. I am required by the state to tell you that we have our appliance installer license. My license number is TICL 812. We do provide electrical work on swimming pools. Please be careful when hiring a repair company as a lot of them skirt the law by not advertising they do electrical work and/or do not carry the required liability insurance. They are breaking the law and making us honest companies look bad. I only rate my company as 5 stars as to not bring down what my true customers have rated me and believe in what we are as a company. Are we perfect? not by any means, do we strive for that? Hell yes we do!!!!
John backups his warranty commitment seriously. I requested him to replace two connectors, he actually replaced all 4 without any cost on my side. Highly recommend.
I am very very happy. John is an honest and knowledgable owner who cares the customer satisfaction. I had him repalce a 10 year old motor and rebuilt the filter and is quite happy with eveything. He goes way above and beyond. I will definitely use him again in the future!
I can highly recommend John for his knowledge and customer service, called yesterday afternoon and had an appointment for today....John showed up early and took care of the problem with a good rate and good work......
Emailed on Saturday afternoon...received a response in 20 minutes. Scheduled an appointment first thing Monday. Showed up on time and went straight to work. Very efficient, knowledgeable and explained the possible causes of the problem. Worked quickly to fix the problem and then made sure that I was comfortable that the problem had been solved. This company is the best in the business and I have tried them all.
This is the first time I've had someone take care of my pool and John has done a terrific job. It's great to come home and be able to jump into the pool or spa and not have to clean it or work the chemicals. My pool looks the best it's ever looked.

I had John come out and replace a broken DE filter on my 10 year old pool. He's extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and knows how to get the job done at a very commendable price. I called several local shops and John has by far the most competitive prices. A real pro, and would definitely recommend him time and again. Looking forward to working with Aquatic Pool Specialists again in the future!
I have had some problems with the clarity/chemicals in my pool. I decided to leave my current pool company to find a better priced and more knowledgeable pool company. I am so glad I found John at Aquatic Pool Specialists! He has down a lot to get my pool running better and to balance the chemicals.
I purchased a salt water system from another company, Nature Clear, and less than a year after I purchased it, it stopped working. I could not get any one from their company to come out and service my system when I ran across Aquatic Pool Specialist’s mail flyer and called to get help. It was the best thing I ever did. John came right over and diagnosed the problem and got it fixed within three days! John is very knowledgeable and a true professional. I will use him for all my pool service from now on and recommend him to everyone I know. I will be doing a complete renovation with him in the next 6 months or so and will write a review on that work as well.
