Established in 1971, Indiana University East has an enrollment of more than 2,400 students. It offers bachelor's degree in political science, psychology, sociology, biology, communication, criminal justice, elementary education, English, fine arts , general studies and humanities. It also offers master s degrees in adult education, business administration, engineering, chemistry, earth science and mathematics. Indiana University East s business courses include accounting, economics, finance, management information systems and marketing. Additionally, it offers courses in American ethnic and minority studies, creative writing, drug and alcohol abuse counseling, human services and laboratory science. The university has a multipurpose gym, fitness center, and recreation center. It has various clubs that include science, honors and writer s club. Indiana University East is located in Richmond, Ind.
