J.M. Hutton & Co. is one of the oldest casket manufacturers in the United States. The company has been operational for more than 100 years. Independently owned and operated, J.M. Hutton offers expertise in metal and hardwood stampings. Established as a sawmill, it utilizes a wide variety of hardwoods, such as walnut, cherry, oak and willow. J.M. Hutton also manufactures copper, bronze, stainless steel, cold rolled steel casket shells, and finishes, handles and interiors. The company has more than 250,000-square-feet of manufacturing facilities and office space and state-of-the-art stamping plant and presses ranging up to 1,000-tons. It is located in Richmond, Ind.
