My daughter has been at The Ford Academy since she turned 2. We love the teachers and the staff! The only two babysitters I have ever used were part time employees of theirs because I trust them so much. We chose to keep my daughter in their private Pre-K instead of sending her to a free Georgia option because we are so impressed with the quality of care and education she receives from her teachers. She loves school and without family in the area, it means the world to me that they love her and know her so well. I just wish I could convince them to start a kindergarten program for next year. :-) We are not going to know what to do when she doesn't go there every day.

I absolutely love this place. Our son started going here when he was 5 months old and graduated the pre-k program this year. As much as I want to be able to take credit, the teachers in the pre-k are the reason our son started kindergarten knowing how to read and write as well as he does. Their pre-k program is EXCEPTIONAL.



. Our younger daughters are still enrolled and they love going to "school" there. You can really see that the teachers and caregivers love their jobs and love the kids. They serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks, all included in the tuition. The kids come home with stacks of arts and craft projects every day. I really couldn't ask for anything better than this place and I've said to multiple people that I wouldn't have gone back to work had I not found it.



P.S. they have an awesome full day summer program too.

RUN! Take your infant and run the other direction! My first impression was that it was too good to be true! The director reminded me of a sweet grandmother. She was kind and loving and very reassuring that as a new mother, I was making THE BEST choice in childcare for my baby, My son started at 7 weeks old. We absolutely adored one of the infant room's teachers. She was SO kind and sweet. She LOVED my baby and it was apparent. The afternoon teacher was QUITE the opposite. I was apalled as I arrived one day to fine my child in a swing with a blanket tied, YES TIED, around his face. I was told he had been spitting his pacifier out and they were "tired" of putting it back in. I was horrified and immediately went to the sweet grandmotherly director who assured me the HIGHEST measures would be taken to fix this problem. I assumed I would recieve an apology and the responsible teacher would be fired. WRONG! The situation was ignored. I was never apologized to and the director said she "handled" it and it would never happen again. The very next week, I arrived to pick my infant up to find that he had been fed someone else's bottles for the ENTIRE day. It wouldn't have been such a big deal if he didn't have a severe allergy! He can't tolerate the formula most babies can. Again, I went to the director voiced my concerns and expected the again responsible teacher to be fired. Nope, she kept her job and I pulled my child. Negligent and irresponsible are the best adjectives I can find for this daycare. I am disappointed in the overall experience and wouldn't recomment it for a dog!
