Established in 1954, Rigidply Rafters is a family-owned business that manufactures a variety of metal-plated roof and floor trusses. It maintains an in-house design department that produces truss designs. The company specializes in rural, agricultural, residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Rigidply Rafters oversees a professional staff of more than 200 employees. It offers a range of building materials, including fasteners, windows, doors, insulation and vapor barriers and siding for contractors and distributors. The company also provides various lumber and engineered wood products, such as columns, beams and treated plywood. Rigidply Rafters is a member of the Wood Truss Council of America (WTCA), American Institute of Timber Construction (AITC), National Frame Builders Association (NFBA) and Truss Plate Institute (TPI).
