Went there this past (Tues) to order a Lo Mein to go which I had never tried before. I could not believe what happen. The lady who is owner was blowing her nose in a napkin & after she finished she put it down on the table where other items are & turned around to ask for my order. I hesitated for many seconds to see if she was going to wash her hands but she did not wash her hands at all. I told her she needed to wash her hands since she just blew her nose & that I was reporting her to the Health Dept. Her reply was that she blew in a napkin & that seem to be just fine & no problem at all on waiting on people or handling food. Turned my stomach. Am reporting her to the Health Dept of Richardson. Have no idea how many times she or someone else serving food have done what she has done. Just be cautious when going there & eating.

I am a frequent customer of Tasty Eggroll II as it is near my work place. This place is excellent with nice staff, good quality food and reasonable price. What is especial for UTD students is that it offers a discount if you show your student ID. I recommend it to everyone near it. It is a great place with tasty food.

Never go to this restaurant! T...

Never go to this restaurant! The woman taking my order was very abrupt and did not listen when I ordered. I requested the orange chicken special that included an egg roll and a choice of steamed or fried rice or brown rice for an additional charge of $1.00. I asked for the brown rice. I paid for my food and afterward she advised me that they were out of brown rice--again very abruptly- so I said ok , chose fried rice instead and waited for my food. Then I realized that she had not refunded the extra charge for brown rice. I asked for that -which she gave me- again very abruptly. I took my food to go and when I arrived home - the egg roll was missing. My husband returned to the store to get the missing egg roll, the woman argued with him, saying I didn't order it. He said that I ordered the special that included the egg roll...but she would not budge. He asked her if the loss of one egg roll to her was worth losing a paying customer. She stood by her decision to not give him the egg roll. On top of all that- the chicken was rubbery and grisly--awful! Talk about bad business!!! I will NEVER oder there again!

To current and future customers of Tasty Eggroll Restaurant Dear all, I have a very painful experience to report to you and seek your understanding. On August 11, 2012, I was working at Tasty Eggroll Restaurant. A lady came to our restaurant and ordered the Orange Chicken. I asked her if she wanted to have an eggroll. She did not want it. So, it was not a daily special and it did not include an eggroll. Then, I asked her what kind of rice she wanted, steamed rice or fried rice. She wanted brown rice. I asked the chef if there was brown rice. The chef said “yes.” So, I charged one additional dollar for the brown rice. After the order was sent to the kitchen, the chef found out that the available brown rice was not enough for an order and new brown rice was still being cooked. So, I said to the lady that as brown rice was not enough, what other rice would she like. She picked fried rice and wanted the return of the additional dollar. So, I gave 1 dollar in cash to her. After the food was wrapped, I handed it to her, thanked her for coming as I always do, and said good-bye to her. After some time, her husband came in and said that we forgot to give an eggroll. I explained to him that his wife’s order did not include an eggroll. At this, he became very angry, pointing his finger at me and starting to scold me, even with foul language, to the surprise of everyone in the restaurant. I did not respond. He then said that he would not come back again and angrily left. After about a half hour, the lady called and wanted to speak to the owner. I told her that the owner was not there. Then, she asked me why her husband was not given an eggroll. Just as I opened my mouth to explain, she wouldn’t allow me to explain and started to scold us. Then she threatened to write a criticism posted on the internet, and abruptly hanged up. I became quite afraid and reported the incident to the owner who called the lady and offered to give her an eggroll next time she came to buy food. But the lady declined and hanged up. So the owner said that the incident was over. But to my utter dismay, the owner found among the reviews of our restaurant that the lady indeed wrote a bad story about the incident and posted on the internet as she threatened. I must say that her account was totally false. This can be testified by several people in the restaurant: a girl customer, a repairman, and two chefs. The fact that her order did not include an eggroll can be verified in the receipt and refund receipt (attached). Moreover, the lady’s own account shows their anger was caused by my not giving them an additional eggroll. According to her account: “He (her husband) asked her if the loss of one egg roll to her was worth losing a paying customer.” Indeed, we want to keep our customers, but I was not the manager and had no authority to give her the unpaid eggroll. If I gave her the extra eggroll, I must pay by myself. As for the lady’s criticism that I spoke rudely to her and her husband, it was totally untrue. You all know, everyone at Tasty Eggroll always treats our customers nicely and courteously. In fact, on that day, it was I who was rudely treated by both her and her husband. Her husband even blurted out a dirty word. I felt so badly about being so treated. I have lived in the US for over 20 years, but I have never been treated so rudely like that. What was even worse, the lady charged me with treating her and her husband rudely and even wrote a totally untrue review of the incident on the internet. This is just like smearing salt on a wound!!! When I think about it, it is a nightmare!!! I need your sympathy and understanding. Yours, Lulu
