The staff accused my sister, her daughter, and granddaughter of stealing. They called them names, refused to discuss the issue like civil people, refused to look at her paid receipt for the over $50 worth of apples in her car. They told them to ";go back where they came from". Not sure what that's means since they live here in clifton park. My sister felt so threatened that she tried to call the police.

I will never never go back there, and now I see that she isn't the only one who has had that type of problem there. I wish I had known sooner.

Apple picking with a free cavity search. They ruin the experience with treating you like criminals. The made me elderly parents get out of the car to search it. Also, the set up is to have cars go through where people are trying to pick. Several people got screamed at to move out of the road in addition to nearly getting run over. No thanks I will continue to go to Hicks orchard.

Our experience at Bowman's Orchard today was wonderful! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, great food, TONS of activities for the kids! The kids LOVED the playground and wanted to go back for more after we ate lunch. While yes, the lines do get pretty long, it's because they are one of the best orchards around. But totally worth the wait! Where else can you get pony rides, hay rides, a corn maze, an apple cannon, peddle go-karts, home made ice cream, donuts, kettle corn, cider, pies, pop corn, and everything else you could possibly imagine! I have read a few reviews about this orchard, and it was a bunch of people who clearly didn't read the signs as you enter the orchard, or the maps they were handed. In order for the orchard to assure you actually pay for what you pick, they search your vehicle. No big deal as long as you are an honest person! This is stated on either signs or the pamphlet. Again, no big deal for the honest person. I love the facility, and I WILL be back with the family next year! Thank you Bowman's Orchard for a great fun-filled day!
