You can order workers anytime, 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week. Our office opens early. We’re at work when you are, so we can have workers standing by, ready for dispatch! Gem State Staffing was founded in 2000 by Tom & Lee Ann Welstad. The first branch opened in Idaho Falls in early 2001. Gem State Staffing became an instant success because of the dedication to quality customer service and experienced staff. The business model was simple: provide quality staffing and customer service at a competitive rate. Not all staffing companies work the same. We work with hundreds of local and nationwide companies to provide temporary and temp-to-hire positions. There is never a fee to the employee or applicant for our services. Gem State Staffing recruits and employs people to fill positions that most closely fit the requirements for our client’s assignment. Applications for employment are taken Mon-Thurs, 9am-4pm. You will need two forms of identification to meet federal employment regulations (I-9). Drivers license, social security card, birth certificate, passport, military ID etc…… We also encourage applicants to bring a copy of their resume.

There are no long-term contracts, and no additional fees. We can do pre-employment drug screening, and DMV checks for CDL or Delivery drivers. We can conduct background investigations upon request We pay all employer taxes. Federal Taxes State Taxes Social Security Taxes Medicare Taxes Unemployment Taxes We provide “Workman’s Compensation” Liability Insurance for your employees. We issue W2’s and can provide any report you may need for your records, at no cost
