Founded in 1967, Reston Children s Center is a nonprofit, parent-owned cooperative dedicated to the developmental and educational needs of children. The organization also provides quality support systems and services for families. The Reston Children s Center offers a wide variety of programs, including infant and toddler care, full-day and part-day preschool education, summer camp activities, and before- and after-school enrichment programs for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. The center s educational curriculum includes open-ended art classes, playground activities, math and science discovery classes, motor skills development programs and language arts development. The Reston Children s Center is located in Reston, Va., and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
