Virginia did an excellent job on my nails. I now have 20 pieces of artwork! Five stars is not enough for this business and I highly recommend them to all!

What a wonderful, peaceful way to relax! The atmospher is calming, the staff is exceptional, the services are the BEST! We have tried several other spas over the years and continue to come back nail studio and day spa this spa has my favorite hair products, kerastase, i am so happy with every one at that salon

For starters... If you are a blonde, go to Murat for color/cut! I used to consistantly go to another day spa until the one day I sat in this mans chair. Nail Studio and Day Spa has my business for life now! Murat only knows a few words in English, but you can immediately tell this guy knows exactly what he is doing and that he loves doing it. Come to find out, Murat has been doing hair for over 25 years. He will have you walking out of there with exactly what you wanted but even better!! And dont worry... theres always someone there to translate to him what you want done and to translate what Murat thinks as well... and dont be afraid of the language barrier because he will only do what he thinks is best for you. If you have a picture of an exact hairstyle, up-do or color that you see and want he will re-create that exact look on you... no joke. This day spa also specializes in extentions and brazillian keratin treatments which is another plus! Secondly, the whole staff at this day spa is extremely nice and welcoming. Its a fun and yet very relaxing environment. The spa pedicures are amazing here.... a little over an hour long, infused with chocolate and cucumber scrubs or green tea masks... not to mention the nice little massage number. Its definitely worth the $60. Third, the threading is unbelievable. I always did waxing, but thats definitely in the past now. Threading is the way to go. Its a complete natural process, using thread or string as some call it, to pull out your unwanted hairs. The results by far, top any waxing job. The process is slightly painful, but worth it. I could go on and on about this place, but to sum it all up this day spa does practically about everything imaginable and does an amazing job every time! You will not be disappointed.From gel nails, to pedicures, massages, body treatments, facials, threading, waxing, hair, spray tanning.... this is the place to go. Can we start a Murat fan club? He is awesome! If he ever goes back to Turkey I will have to move.



I have been advised that the women of Northern Virginia frequent the Nail Studio and Day Spa in Reston with dripping locks just to have there hair blow dried by the infamous Murat. If only I lived closer, I would have to do the same. How does he juggle all of these women in the morning?



Anyhow, I woke up at 7:45 for a 9 a.m. appointment on Saturday...mind you this was early for me and also on the day that Hurricane Hanna hit the area- - despite the 9 inches of rain that was dropped on the area, the trip was more than worth it.



The only downside which isn't really a downside is Murat is just learning to speak English having come from Turkey...which I don't mind at all since I still got picture perfect hair except I would have loved to have had a conversation with this interesting, very well dressed, and his obvious intriguing personality. Perhaps I will learn his language and it will be a match made in heaven, perfect hair and perfect hairdresser. My next appointment is in December and I can't wait.

Farewell Red Door...

I really love this salon, the service was great and I love the atmosphere. This salon does not have the chemical odor like in normal salons. They just hired a new hair stylist and new facialist that do amazing work. The hair stylist made me look 20 years younger and the facialist made me feel 20 years younger. The waxing done by the facialist did not hurt like in other places because they work with your skin to make it feel not as painful. The offer gel nails which is great because they do not turn yellow and break easily like acrylic nails. They also offer threading, threading is just like waxing but much better, when I do waxing my facial hair grows back within 2 weeks but with threading my facial hair takes 3 weeks to start growing back so I don't have to get it done as often. They just moved over to a new location in the shopping center and this salon looks absolutely amazing. Lucy did a great job in finding the best technitions and making the spa look very modern.I love their work
