DECA is an association of students, teachers and administrators. It conducts several educational conferences and competitive events. The organization provides leadership, classroom and chapter resources. DECA offers career options to students in the areas of marketing, hospitality, finance, management and entrepreneurship. It serves more than 185,000 students in the United States, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, Germany and Mexico. The organization offers several occupational and leadership skills development activities. DECA operates a high school division that conducts sports and entertainment marketing conferences. It has a partnership with the National Advisory Board. The organization also participates in several community programs and events.
