There is no direct phone service to the store!! we spoke to machine then to specialist who connected us to the store! It only took us an hour to speak with live person from the store itself!! Monday 4:30 and snowing! wonder how many customers were at the store!! Regardless Apple needs to have not just technology but have live people answering phone!!

What a GREAT experience at the Reston, VA Apple store. Time of day: Late Afternoon, seven days before Christmas. I went in to purchase the iPhone 6. I was greeted by an Apple employee, told him what I wanted, he checked inventory, he made an appointment, I waited maybe 20 minutes for an employee to help me. Once I was greeted by my salesperson, it took maybe eight minutes to purchase and activate the new hardware. Never had to take the phone out of the box. I was asked but not pressured to get accessories and Apple extended warranty. When I got home, turned on the phone and ran thru a few setup screens, I was up and running with the new phone. The iPhone setup was quick, easy, and smooth.
