      Founded in 1912, Los Angeles Jewish Home is one of the leading residential communities for senior citizens in the United States. Located in Reseda, Calif., the home annually serves more than 2,000 senior citizens. It conducts musical shows, exercise classes and creative arts programs, as well as therapeutic recreational activities. The home also offers laundry, housekeeping and transportation services. Los Angeles Jewish Home provides nursing, psychiatric and hospice care services. In addition, it offers medical care services for Alzheimer and dementia patients. The home provides rehabilitative and behavioral health care services. It hosts a variety of social events, including luncheons. The home operates a school of nursing that offers classes in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and surgeries. Los Angeles Jewish Home is a nonprofit organization that relies upon donations from individuals, corporations and foundations.
