About Commercial Plastics Co., Inc Commercial Plastics was founded in 1968 by Clarence Franks. 40 years later, we are still family owned and operated with the third generation involved in the business. It's the employee's that make this a great company. Our employees have been here an average of 8 1/2 years. Our current facility was built in 1987 and has expanded to 20, 000 sq ft on 7 acres. We are a wholesale manufacturer of custom vacuum formed sign faces and exterior lighted sign cabinets. We ONLY sell to sign companies. We have customers from the east coast to the west coast, with the bulk of our customers being in the central United States.
