- Wound and Fracture CareDr. Lindsey Waffle joined Spring Glen Veterinary Hospital July 2021. She grew up in the Kent east hill area and has been working in the veterinary field since she was 15 years old. She graduated from Washington State University in 2007. She spent a year interning at an equine hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona before she moved to Portland Oregon where she worked as an equine veterinarian for 3 years. She then moved back to Washington State and has been practicing small animal medicine for 10 years. She loves soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, wound care and medicine. Dr. Waffle is married and has two sons, an adopted dog named Taffy and a career changed guide dog for the blind named Doreen. In her free time Dr. Waffle enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking, gardening and going for walks with her family and dogs.
- Veterinary SurgeryDr. Margaret Hammond graduated from WSU in 1994. She spent 13 years in small animal practice and in emergency medicine, before joining Spring Glen in 2007. Dr. Hammond’s medical interests include soft tissue surgery, especially reconstructive surgery and internal medicine. Dr. Hammond lives with her husband and two cats in a small house with a big garden.

- MicrochippingA microchip the size of a grain of rice is placed under the skin and between the shoulder blades. It is registered with your pet’s vital information, and can be scanned by any veterinarian or animal shelter so that they can return your pet directly to you.
