      Reno-Sparks Gospel Mission is a nonprofit Christian organization that provides shelter for homeless men and women and prepares more than 500 meals in a day. It is one of the largest faith-based agencies and supports the Christian Addiction Recovery and Education program (C.A.R.E.), which is an intensive recovery program that focuses on the overall well-being of its clients by addressing their spiritual, physical and emotional needs. The organization operates various facilities, including cold weather men s and women s shelters, emergency lodging, transitional and rental housing, and warehouse and thrift stores. Reno-Sparks Gospel Mission maintains over 140 beds for addiction recovery and cold weather emergency shelter for men. It offers meals, showers, clothes and hygiene necessities to homeless women. The organization maintains a presence in Reno, Nev.
