      General Info
      The Rancho San Rafael Regional Park covers more than 600 acres of area that includes turfs and natural deserts. The park provides spaces for group and family picnics. It is a place for activities that include biking, fishing, hiking, jogging, bird watching and walking. The Rancho San Rafael Regional Park s facilities include amusement rides, horseshoe pits, museums, gardens, amphitheaters, multipurpose fields, trails and volleyball courts. In addition, the park is a venue for conducting exercise sessions. It maintains an office in Reno, Nev. The Rancho San Rafael Regional Park is operated by the Washoe County s Department of Regional Parks and Open Space, which also operates various parks, horse arenas and athletic fields.
