Training & Workshops---We have partnered with a large variety of organizations since 1999 to train individuals and groups in the community. Our training team uses its knowledge and experience to create deep moments of learning for all participants. Conflict Coaching--Conflicts can be complex. Having someone help you think through options and ideas often leads to a new positive direction for everyone involved.

      The neighborhood Mediation Center provides referral and mediation services at no charge in Washoe County. The NMC also provides training services to schools and organizations on a sliding fee scale. The NMC can offer you: * Timely Dispute Resolution * Responsive And Experienced Staff * Multiple Locations * Flexible Hours Of Operation * Diverse Pool Of Mediators * Variety Of Training Programs Community Mediation Community Mediation programs are more than 20 years old, are located in 650 communities in the U.S., and hear over 45,000 cases annually, Mediation centers have been successful because they allow parties to come together voluntarily and resolve disputes to their own satisfaction. The Neighborhood Mediation Center, Inc. a Nevada non-profit and 501(c) (3) corporation, was awarded the contract by Washoe County to operate a community mediation center. The NMC has been involved in a wide variety of services since it opened on March 1, 1999. We are interested in our community and would welcome the opportunity to collaborate with individuals and groups in new program areas. Mediation is a voluntary confidential process where the parties work together with a mediator to: * Clarify The Key Issues * Explore Possible Options * Devise A Solution That Works For Everyone * Improve Their Relationship
