Leverty & Associates Law Chtd. was established in 1979. We practice in the area of insurance law. We represent individuals and businesses having problems with an insurance company. Having the knowledge of how insurance companies should operate, including regulatory compliance; insurance industry standards; claims handling; agency operations; and underwriting; enables the firm to provide well-rounded and objective legal advice dealing with all aspects of insurance, including, but not limited to the following: REPRESENTATION OF BUSINESS AND INDIVIDUALS in asserting their rights against insurance companies. Such representation includes insurance bad faith and violations of Nevada’s Unfair Claims Practices Act. INSURANCE AGENT MISTAKES AND FAILURES. Leverty & Associates Law Chtd. has represented many individuals and businesses who have been the victims of an insurance agent’s error. Such representation includes cases against agents for failure to provide sufficient insurance. CLASS ACTIONS. Leverty & Associates has been appointed class counsel for a national class action that provided benefits to class members throughout the 50 states. Leverty & Associates has also been named as class counsel in a number of lawsuits filed on behalf of the individuals harmed in the Fernley Flood.
