Edward B. Horn received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, where he graduated with honors in 1975. Edward Horn fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer and attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. He graduated with honors in 1978. After law school, Edward Horn moved to Reno, Nevada, where he became a United States District Court law clerk for the late United States District Court Judge Harry E. Claiborne of the District of Nevada. Edward Horn passed the California Bar exam in 1978 and the Nevada Bar Exam in 1979.
