I hired tory for my divorce. Our first day in Court. He did not show up. He had called me the night before to discuss court. When he did not show up he said he did not know it was on his schedule? Every time I had to go to court he asked for more money. When he had done nothing for me. He charged me for mediation, he charged me for filling out mediation papers ect. when he did not. I brought it to his attention he was charging me for things he did not do. Long story short. He did not charge me for the rest of my case. I was informed by my ex husband we were divorced. He did not even tell me it was done. Then I called to get my divorce papers. His paralegal Jeanette ( she was nice) said she would have them for me up front on the desk. Because I was moving there's no address to send them to me. Then I went in the hospital. Then my dad was in the hospital and then my grandma went in the hospital. So I was unable to pick papers up. Went in to get them. The lady was getting them for me. He came out of his office 3 times once to asked his assistant why I was there? Then he said he personally sent them to me. Then amazingly she was too busy to give me all of divorce papers. I pay for those papers and did not get them. Try to get those papers to pick my daughters up because my ex husband was not working with the parenting plan. He made it so I could not see my children. Do not waste your money you're better off to represent yourself.

He is definitely the worst lawyer you could ever work with. The experience was a joke and cost us several more thousands of dollars then it should and even put my spouse at risk of being deported. He tells you to disclose information to USCIS that caused for a denial and when you have your next appointment with him, the first thing is how much thousands of dollars it will cost and how he's the best lawyer in town for the job. This couldn't be further from the truth. A straight forward visa through marriage was a complete disaster that could have been easily avoided. His answers are broad and misleading and he charges for everything he can. He does not work on your cases, just plugs information into a computer that completes your USCIS forms and then he sends them. The is no true representation or guidance through this process on his part. And when he does confront concerns, this so called 20+ year lawyer needs to do research that gets you no where. And when we went to another lawyer, he refused to give all paper work on our file to us or the other lawyer. Go to Richard Fleicher, he charges the same and he also will be there for your interview and make sure your case goes smoothly the first time. Stay away from Carrico, just horrible, he almost had my son's mother deported.

Worst Lawyer Ever. Treats you like crap, only in it for the money. Check with the Bar, as he has had many complaints filed against him. After $12,000 our situation was worse, switched lawyers and now things are much better and cheaper with a different Lawyer. STAY AWAY

John Carrico and his employees provided fast and friendly service. I would recommend him and his office for anyone with immigration needs.
