I haven't even seen Dr. Mathis for a year yet, but completely trust him and the decisions he makes for me, his patient. When I first came to see him, I had a really bad sinus infection. We tried multiple courses of antibiotics, but eventually needed surgery. He did four different procedures in one day, and was concerned about my post-op pain. The day that I came to get my splints out, he opened the office just for me. I drive 220 miles just to see the Doctor, and I will gladly continue.

I had a cyst on my neck below my right ear. My doctor sent me with Dr. Mathis so i can get the cyst checked out, he told me i needed surgery, i was really scared because he told me that there was a possibility that i would loose my facial movement. But thank god and Dr. Mathis for doing a great job in my surgery.

Dr. Mathis is nice, thorough, and very pleasant.

I have the illness HHT which causes my nose to hemmorage uncontrollably. Dr. Mathis has performed many lifesaving treatments in the office and the hospital in a calm, professional way. There is no cure to this illness, yet he has helped me by his excellent treatment and always in a timely fashion so that I have not bled out. I am very thankful to him and Dr. Dooley (retired). I have seen them for 30 years and have led a normal life with this illness. Many doctors would not even treat me, however, Dr. Mathis has shown respect for me and my family in his treatment. I highly reccommend him to anyone. He is very intelligent, has a good bedside manner and is calm in high stress situations.

I started seeing Dr. Mathis when I was being tested and treated for Mono. He visited me in the hospital and kept a very close eye on me until I was back on my feet and it has been great ever since.
