I have been a tenant here for the last 5 years, I am on disability and needed to find cheap place to stay that was not full of a bunch of alcoholics. Thankfully I found Cheryl's! This place is so clean and quite I almost forget that I am in down-town, Most of the people that stay here keep to themselves and there is little to no problems with anything. The landlords are very nice and try to help out any way they can, they have put allot into making this a nice place to stay. I read a couple of the other reviews here and need to clear up a couple of things, the small rooms that were mentioned are part of the cheaper rooms, they have 1 room with a shared bedroom but I know that there are regular studios with a kitchen and some 1 bedroom apartments. It just depends on how much you want to spend and what you really need. This is a superb place to stay.

I am retired and was looking for somewhere inexpensive but yet nice to stay, I looked for almost a month to find somewhere that I could afford, that was close to transportation and in the down town area. After looking at several different places, some of which were very very poorly kept I finally stumbled upon this little place. There prices are quite inexpensive and exactly what I needed. This place is very clean and looks like my room has been recently upgraded with new carpet and sink. The staff is very very helpful and nice.

So I have lived here for about almost eight months now me and my boyfriend.No there is no bugs maybe unclean people bring them with them from coming from other places. It is small I stay in one of the efficiency studios that would be considered the motel part of the property and it is small but what do you expect in such case that u are renting a motel i have been to i believe every weekly place down tow n reno and this is by far the most well kepy clean safe quiet enjoyable place i have ever stayed. Jerry and Cheryl arr great landlords they do whatever they can to keep you satisfied and confortable and im so happy this is probably the closest place to the heart of downtown reno but amI feel exttemly safe. They usually rid thr rifraf and keep this place clean. 24 hr survellience and the plus is one of the first places ive stayed in reno where the landlors ARE NOT ON DRUGS AND TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS.Iwould def. Recommend this place to anyone from the outside looking in. But please be concious of yourself when u rent here about ur lifestyle though. If ur the paryier or the love to have people over or loud u might want to recinsoder or keep it to minimum at least if u stay. This is a nice place to live lets keep it that way. Fyi when u move in they are reasonable with pricing and are definatly excellent useally new bed stuff new paint carpets and super clean and make sure you are completely satisfied with ur ssituation before you make ur move with everything in your room. This is a very clean and quite place to stay, very affordable and the staff will bend over backwards to help you any way they can. Most of the rooms have been totally remodelled and are in immaculate condition. I would highly recommend Cheryl's for anyone looking for a room for the night to long term residence in one of there 1 room apartments.
