Established in 2001, Bailey Charter Elementary School employs a balanced literacy program approach to teaching that includes phonics and language integrated into a challenging curriculum. It offers programs for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The school s 21st century community learning center program provides academic enrichment and recreational activities including literacy, math, science, technology, art, dance, sports activities and career counseling. Program highlights include introduction to robotics, Microsoft 2000, business ethics classes, art exhibitions, dance performances and basketball teams participating in local leagues and tournaments.
