What is Prosthetics and Orthotics? Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P) is the evaluation, fabrication and custom fitting of artificial limbs and orthopedic braces. What is a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO)? A certified prosthetist and/or orthotist is a healthcare professional who is specifically educated and trained to manage comprehensive orthotic and/or prosthetic patient care. This includes patient assessment, formulation of a treatment plan, implementation of the treatment plan, follow-up and practice management. ABILITY Prosthetics and Orthotics of Nevada LLC is owned and operated by Travis Humphreys CPO. He is certified by the American Board of Certification and has been providing prosthetic and orthotic services to Reno, Sparks, Lake Tahoe and Northern Nevada since 1997.
