A Taste of Thai serves the best Thai food in Reno. The ingredients are hand picked daily and the curries and sauces made fresh. Their Pad Thai is full of Thai flavors and has great texture. I love all their curries especially. The Ruby curry is their red curry, and it has lots of bamboo. The Jade curry is their green curry, and it has peas, green beans, carrots. The Nevada curry is their yellow curry, and it has potatoes, onions, and a slightly sweet flavor. All are stupendous. They have a fresh spring roll that's really good with their peanut sauce. Across each of my 40 visits or so since 2004, the service has always been friendly and fast without exception. This is a great place to eat for anyone that loves Thai.

I went to this restaurant for dinner and left completely shocked with how bad the customer service was. First the waitress looks completely upset and annoyed the entire time. When I asked for peanut sauce with our appetizer she said no that it didn't come with it. Then she sat at a different table while we were eating on her cellphone the entire time. The other waitress wasn't any better with the way she was treating her tables. I wouldn't have been so upset except that the food wasn't that good either. It was watered down and came to the table cold. In this kind of economy businesses need to understand that customer service is how to keep your customers loyal and coming back. I will not go there ever again or recommend anyone I know.
