The Public Works Department provides a variety of management and maintenance services for individuals and businesses throughout the City of Reidsville in North Carolina. It operates garage, public services and solid waste management divisions, as well as wastewater and water treatment plants. The department s public services division is responsible for the maintenance of streets, roads, and sewage and storm sewer collection systems. The public services division maintains more than 80 miles of streets and over 100 miles of water distribution lines. The division additionally offers street sweeping, snow removal, curb and sidewalk replacement, and traffic signal and sign installation services. The Public Works Department provides bulk trash, yard waste, bagged grass and residential garbage collection and disposal services.
