We hadnt dined at Spunky Steer for awhile. We previously had been regular diners (about once a month) in the past. I was absolutely shocked to see a 25% increase in menu prices since our last visit. Previously we had ordered their 16 oz. Stockyard for $16.00. We found the price on this particular menu item had risen to $20.00. Aside from the fact that the 1000 island dressing now tastes like pure pickle relish the steaks we received were extremely substandard. They were chewy and sinewy. I ordered my steak medium and it came out well done. When I sent it back the second one, which was CTO was, however, inedible due to sinew and ligamentous tissue throughout. I asked the server if it was possibly a flank steak and he assured me it was a sirloin. The meat quality has gone downhill (unlike their prices). We were unable to get much attention from our server. When ended up tracking down our own to-go container so we could leave. This will be my last visit.
