The Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council provides a variety of age-appropriate programs that help to develop leadership and decision-making skills in more than 17,000 girls. The organization offers a variety of multicultural activities and environmental education programs addressing teen issues. Located in Redlands, Calif., it offers several Girl Scouts camps that include recreational activities, such as swimming, canoeing, hiking, rock climbing, horseback riding, cooking, backpacking, archery, and arts and crafts. The Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council s Camp Azalea Trails is accredited by the American Camping Association. The organization is a part of the Girl Scouts of the United States of America, which is a youth organization for girls in the United States and American girls living abroad.
