The fastest and easiest way to schedule your appointment with Dr. Kleefeld is to contact our office at 707-822-5188. One of our staff members will contact you within 24 hours, answer any initial questions that you may have, and schedule your appointment at next available appointment. Emergency appointments are available each day for urgent matters. On your first visit to our office you will be welcomed to our office and will then be asked to fill out two short and simple forms which will help us gain some information about yourself and your condition. Dr. Kleefeld will then ask you some specific questions regarding your condition to determine if chiropractic care may be of benefit to you. If the Doctor can help you, he will let you know. If the Doctor cannot help you, you will be referred to a doctor that will be able to help you the most. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent. Your medical history will be taken by the doctor, followed by a complete chiropractic examination. This will include testing your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend, as well as other standard orthopedic, neurological, postural, and physical examinations. The doctor will gain valuable information regarding your condition so that he will have a better understanding of how chiropractic can help you. If necessary, the doctor may take X-rays or refer you for additional testing procedures. X-ray is sometimes required to get a full evaluation of a patient. The need for X-ray is considered on a case by case basis. Our equipment is state of the art for imaging. Once all the information and examinations have been performed, Dr. Kleefeld will answer any questions that you may have and if appropriate provide specific treatment recommendations. Our treatment measures are gentle, yet effective and most patients begin to see results from the very first treatment. Our office participates in many insurance programs. To find out if your insurance covers chiropractic care, you can call the office directly. "Free Consultations" are available for patients wish to simply meet Dr. Kleefeld and staff and are wondering if chiropractic treatment may be appropriate. This "Free Consultation" usually involves 5-10 minutes of face-to-face time with Dr. Kleefeld, and does NOT include any history taking, examination or treatment typically involved in the new patient process. For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged.
