Sundance Trail Guest Ranch is our piece of Rocky Mountain Heaven that we delight in sharing with you. We provide you with comfortable lodging, home cooked meals, beautiful scenery, pleasant conversations, relaxation and a chance to make memories that will last a lifetime. Sundance Trail is a small dude ranch, operating year-round. We host up to 24 guests, in seven suites of rooms. Suites vary from one bedroom and bathroom to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We aim to make everyone feel at home. Summer time is our peak season with the Summer Dude Ranch. The rest of the year we enjoy providing a quieter experience of lodging, meals and horseback riding, the Country Inn Season. During the summer guests enjoy an all-inclusive 7 day/6 night package that includes a wide range of activities: Horseback riding, with short rides, lessons, and all day rides available. Other activities includes: rock climbing, white water rafting, hiking, evening entertainment, Rifle range target shooting, trap shooting, tomahawk throwing. Country Inn season is available Fall, Winter and Spring. We offer meals and accommodations, Ranch style. Come and stay one night or two or three. We offer straight Bed and Breakfast or our Country Inn package with meals, morning horseback ride and of course, fresh home-made cookies. We have horses for beginners through advanced riders. All rides are guided. Our ranch borders Roosevelt National Forest. The forest provides a variety of riding opportunities including forest trails and open meadows. We are NOT a nose-to-tail riding program. Riding is available at all gaits, based on your ability and weather conditions. We are very proud of our string of horses and our riding opportunities.
