Our store is located within the Elite Trampoline Building ( formally Siperstein Paint store) at 549 State Hwy 35 Middeltown, NJ. For the dancer we offer apparel from the traditional Wear Moi, Gaynor Minden, Capezio and Balera lines to a more contemporary California Kisses,Urban Groove, Kurve and IDEA apparel and fun accessories. Ballet slippers to turners. Point ribbon, ballet leotards , ballet skirts , dance bags for all ages and much more. For the gymnast we offer leotards from various manufacturers such as GK, Under Armour and Desteria as well as fun and colorful active wear and accessories. Grip bags and headbands in a variety of colors. For the Cheerleader we offer leggings, shorts, crop tops, sneakers and headbands, Gift baskets are available as well as Gift Certificates. The owner, Sharon Bartlett, is very much hands on and has been involved with booth dance and gymnastics activities for many years, initially as a gymnast and later as a gymnastics instructor and Acro coach in the New York and New Jersey areas. Sharon initially began thinking of opening a retail store catering to the dance and gymnastics " crowd" a few years ago when she found the quality of clothing on line for these activities was in many cases inadequate. Sharon also found the sizing for various clothing articles varied from brand to brand and this resulted in numerous trips to the Post Office for returns. As her daughter has been active in both dance and gymnastics for many years, she has become aware of the various brands and quality associated with particular footwear and clothing lines. As time passed, she developed a business plan for the Dance and Flip Boutique and registered the business as an LLC in the State of New Jersey. At the core of the Dance and Flip Boutique mission are two primary principals: • To provide a wide variety of high quality, performance dance and gymnastics apparel. • To offer an enjoyable shopping experience by providing the highest levels of client satisfaction. The store unofficially opened for business on October 6, 2014 with a more formal opening October 18, 2014. In addition, a website expansion is currently under development to accommodate online purchases.
