Governor Mifflin Intermediate School provides academic education to students in grades four through six. It is a public school that is located in Shillington, Pa., and enrolls more than 1,000 students. The intermediate school is a part of the Governor Mifflin School District. Its curriculum includes English, language arts, math, art, music, science and social studies. Additionally, the school offers physical and special education classes. It also provides computer technology education that includes classes in Word processing, PowerPoint, spreadsheet and database management and access to the Internet. Governor Mifflin Intermediate School has a library that provides curriculum books, novels, literary sources and Internet search tools. It organizes various extracurricular activities, such as a band, orchestra, chorus and after-school programs that include classes in French, German, Spanish and Italian. Governor Mifflin Intermediate School has a parent-teacher organization and addresses the physical, emotional and social development needs of its students.
