How would you like to truly lose weight, firm up and keep the weight off without ever having to count a calorie? Slimming Without Really Trying is about learning how to eat the right foods that will increase your metabolism, and burn the fat even while your resting. No counting calories, or watching your fat intake. Once a week include a cheat day, I call “Food Gone Wild” Do you have a cheat day once a week? Yes, even though being on the mini meals eliminates that urge for sweets due to the protein and carbs. I love my desserts, so I have a cheat day once a week, but I don’t go overboard. Everything in moderation. Are there any foods that people should avoid, even on their cheat days? Absolutely Not. Life is short and you have to enjoy it, and you should indulge when it's time to indulge. At some point, I think everyone should eat everything at least once. Like I said “Life is Short, Eat Dessert First”. I have been asked many times what my cheat foods are. I mix it up because I just have to many. I labeled my Sunday cheat day “Food Gone Wild”. By eating that deliciously fattening meal and dessert once a week actually helps your body to continue losing the fat and building muscle. So, I might do a hamburger, fries, and a milkshake. Next week, I might go out for a juicy filet mignon steak, bake potato with all the goodness of butter, and sour cream, and a big fat piece of cheesecake for dessert. I love to eat, and that is why the mini meals work so great, because there are no reasons that I can ever think of to deprive myself of simple pleasures. What have you got to lose?
