SHAME ON THESE PEOPLE!My cat has a cancerous mass that has started to ulcerate and needs to be removed. She was diagnosed at UofI, and they recommended leaving the mass alone until and if it ulcerated. Today, when I called Rantoul Veterinary Clinic, I was told they would check with the doctor and call me back. FIVE AND A HALF HOURS LATER, they had still not returned my call, so I called them. "Oh, doctor has your message, he's just very busy." 20 minutes after that, I received a voicemail message from a very disinterested Dr. Updike, essentially calling me a liar (he said, "I highly doubt the U of I would tell you not to remove the mass"), and informing me that I owed them $40, so I should take my business elsewhere. Very nice. You wasted my entire afternoon, when I could have been FINDING another vet for my cat, so you could insult me and refuse care to a sick animal. When you become oncology specialists, let me know. Even better, when you learn to value an animal over a purported $40 bill (never received), let me know.

This is absolutely the BEST vet office I have ever been to! Awesome vet, awesome service, very clean facility. I would definitely recommend you take your furry friend(s) here!
