I agree, this restaurant has great food and great service but that lady manager or owner, is the most unfriendly person and she's always wearing a scowl on her face. Maybe if she welcomed more folks and acted like she was happy to have customers it would pick back up again.

I never knew this place was in Rantoul. I came in with my husband on Saturday night and had a young woman with pink glasses and she was marvelous. I will definitely be coming back. Food is amazing, waitress was amazing, coffee was even amazing. Hope to have her again.

Been a regular for some time now. Never had a complaint until now. For starters I have noticed the decline in business over the recent months. I feel this has alot to do with the manager Stephanie. She is very rude and not very tentative to her tables. There are a couple of the girls I enjoy as do my wife and kids. Shaundi and Jessica are great. There was another girl named Lacy. Havent seen her for awhile. Loved her and her personality. As we do Shaundi and Jessica. Those girls will bring business in instead of running it out. They all 3 treat you as family and show genuine concern and interest in their customers . I say step it up to the owners. Or Im afraid your restaurant will be another failure in Rantoul. Get more girls like Shaundi, Jessica and Lacy.

I like the food I just don't like the manager. She's so rude. Does she know she's comes off like that? From a customer stand point, that's horrible management. they either need to find a new one or the business will decline.

I come in there on occasion so some of the waitresses remember me and my husband when we come in. Well Sunday was one of the days that we came in. Now we rarely eat out for breakfast so this was our first breakfast experience there. They weren't to busy which was good I guess but we had the pleasure of having Stephanie as our waitress. First time having her and I wasn't pleased. She took my order then proceeded to sit at the counter and stuff her face. She never even brought us our food. She checked on us once maybe twice but by the time she came we were all done with our food. One thing I will say is the other waitresses were doing a good job of keeping the coffee coming. I will come back for breakfast just hope to have a different waitress.

Wonderful place to eat! My wife and I usually go for breakfast usually have the same waitress, however I haven't seen her the past 2 weeks! We miss you come back! The other waitresses are great but don't have quite the personality. We definitely recommend the haystack it's really good. Very reasonably priced also. Everyone should go check this place out

A couple friends and I decided to stop at The Family Table this last Saturday and let me say there was only 1 waitress with a restaurant full of people and she handled it with grace and brilliant efficiency! ! It was utterly amazing how quickly she got to everyone! Not to mention how kind and funny she was. She had us laughing and joking with her... a very enjoyable lunch. I don't know how she was able to handle it all alone but boy did she! A wonderful young girl. If you stop there my advice is wait the 25 minutes for the fried chicken, its delicious and don't skip the ice cream! I hope you have the same delightful waitress we did! We will definitely be back!

Let me start by saying me and my wife are regulars here. Two sometimes three visits a week. never have we had a problem until last Friday night(Nov. 21st.) Our waitress was Stephanie. She seemed to forget she was waiting on us. Thing is we didnt see her waiting on anybody else. We waited 30 minutes for our ice cream that came with our dinners. Never got it. We were in line to pay when she approached us asking if we wanted it to go. We will be back as we enjoy the food and most all of the other waitstaff. We will however request not to have her again.

We go every Sunday and it is wonderful. We have a large group and they always take special care of us even though they are EXTREMELY BUSY. I adore the waitresses! A great place to take the whole family!!

I am not sure if the person below me has been to the Family Table. A large group of us go every Sunday, they are ALWAYS very busy when we go and yet we never are displeased. The waitresses are amazing, they treat us as family. They are quick to fix mistakes ... yes, mistakes they happen. And they are always laughing and having fun. I love our Sunday breakfasts at The Family Table, Shaundie and Jessica are our usual waitresses but we have had others and they are always wonderful. The owner always speaks with us and we enjoy it. Maybe t the person below me was less than pleased, but then again maybe they just are one of those people who usually are.

I came in with a large group of people a couple weeks back. First off, the wait staff was horrible. We were in a room and our waitress was horrible. Now the food was good but one of my friends had to get up and get her to take out order. She just wasn't consistent. You could tell she was worn out but there's just some stuff you don't show in front of your customers. I didn't too good bd side I tip based on service and let me tell you, it was horrible. Go here if you choose. The food is good but waitresses are horrible(well the one we had was).

I am from out of town and I came into eat breakfast with my husband. This was our first time there and I just want to say it was great. My waitress was wonderful even though she took a few minutes to get to my booth. The place was very busy but they had great turnovers in tables because the food was fast coming out. As I'm sitting there talking to my husband I over hear the hostess talking to a customer about the service today and how it was busy etc. She said that they were short staffed and trying to make things work because their manager never showed up for his/her shift. I just want to say everything was great. Even though they were short staffed, I enjoyed myself and will be back when I am in town. May take awhile because I love by Chicago but I would recommend this place.

I came in yesterday with my husband and I was amazed at the prices and service. Cheap and delicious food, Shandy was great! Never had to ask for anything! She was very busy and still was joking and having a good time. Loved her! We will be back!
