My daughter got braces from Dr. Tings office and when the office manager was going over the cost of the treatment, she told me that they over charge/over bill the insurance company more then they quote me, so I wind up paying less out of pocket. When I informed her that this was illegal she stated that is how we bill all of our patients' insurance. I finished treatment for my daughter and after I calculated how much my insurance was billed vs. how much I was quoted, it turned out that they over billed my insurance company $1400.00. I reported them and filed a complaint and they were ordered to refund the money.

It is hard enough affording dental insurance on top of medical and vision, and I believe it is Drs. like these that take advantage of the system causing my people to not be able to afford insurance for their families.
