I’ve read other reviews here and can confirm from eating here off and on for over 2 decades that the service can be very rude and even intimidating. For example, I went there with a friend once and we ordered a pizza. It took quite a while to get to our table which was surprising, considering there was only one other occupied table in the whole place. When we went to pay the bill we wanted to split the check between the two of us and the cashier guy got an attitude and said that splitting the check was “weird” and that people don’t do that. He did split the check but kept mentioning that it was weird as we paid. It was awkward, and puzzling especially considering they weren’t busy at all. After a short period of research I conclude that this place is MAFIA OWNED. Do not give this place any business. Unnecessarily rude.

Their pizza rivals the best we've eaten in NYC. Servings are generous and prices are excellent. Service is attentive and relatively fast. I stumbled upon Vic's while trying to find a place to have dinner with my young daughter before the ballet. Vic's is now one of our local favorites!

My husband and I enjoy going to Vic's because they have great Italiian dishes and the best service you can find in town. Vic's means a lot to us because we ate their on the night we got engaged. We make a special point to go back on our anniversary. Their Lobster Ravoli is superb and one of my favorites.
