- Dental ExaminationWe perform a screening for oral cancer at every periodic and comprehensive exam. During this exam, we palpate the head and neck area, and look for signs of abnormalities in and around the mouth and throat. Screening for oral cancer is important, because it more successfully treated when it is diagnosed early.
- Oral Cancer ScreeningComprehensive dental exams are recommended at least twice annually. This is an opportunity to evaluate the health of your teeth and gums, and to perform an oral cancer screening.
- Teeth CleaningWouldn’t you rather prevent dental issues than treat them? Our goal is to help you do just that through a variety of preventive measures. Maintaining routine dental checkups, staying current on professional teeth cleaning appointments, practicing good home care, and eating a healthy diet go a long way toward making sure your teeth last for life.
- Fluoride TreatmentFluoride is a powerful cavity-fighting tool for children and adults. We use fluoride varnish, which is a longer-acting treatment, and there’s no need to wait 30 minutes before you can eat or drink.
- Dental SealantsDental sealant is a plastic material applied to the biting surfaces of children’s permanent molars, which serves as a barrier to help prevent tooth decay. Sealants are long-lasting, but are checked at each appointment to ensure they continue to function as prescribed.
- Fillings
- VeneersChips, minor cracks, discoloration, undesirable spaces, and uneven teeth can be corrected with veneers. These thin sheets of porcelain are bonded to the fronts of your teeth and custom made to match your natural teeth.
- CrownsWhen a tooth is decayed or damaged to the point that its integrity is compromised, we can place a porcelain or gold crown on it so your tooth can continue to function at it should. Porcelain crowns can be matched to the color of neighboring teeth.
- BridgesAn implant-supported bridge- similar to a regular dental bridge, except that instead of being supported by two neighboring natural teeth, it is supported by two dental implants.
- Dental Bonding
- Restorative DentistryThe goal of restorative dentistry is to diagnose and manage disease in the teeth and supporting structures by restoring form and function. Your teeth need to do more than look attractive; they must work effectively, too.
- Root Canal TreatmentInternal bleaching may be recommended if you have a dead front tooth that has had a root canal and now looks gray. We can bleach it from the inside so it more closely matches the color of neighboring teeth. This treatment may need to be repeated every few years.
- Deep CleaningScaling and root planing is a nonsurgical deep cleaning of your teeth. Scaling removes tartar from beneath the gum line and down to the roots, while root planing helps even out rough spots on the roots of your teeth that can trap bacteria and promote gum disease.
- DenturesA fixed hybrid denture is a restoration that marries the benefits of fixed replacements and removable dentures. Once four or more dental implants are placed in the jaw, a denture can be screwed into the implants.
- OverdenturesAn implant-supported denture is a type of removable overdenture suitable if you don’t have any teeth in your jaw, but your jawbone remains healthy enough to support implants. The denture is firmly held in place with two or more implants.
- Dental ImplantsCall us if you would like to schedule an appointment to learn more about dental implants. We can perform an exam to determine if you are a good candidate for the treatment.
- Oral Surgery
- Teeth WhiteningWe use Opalescence, which offers four concentrations of whitening agents in three flavors. Some concentrations are used for 30 minutes per day, while others are used overnight. Opalescence products also may include custom made or prefabricated whitening trays. All of these systems are capable of whitening your teeth by several shades.
- Cosmetic DentistryIf so, cosmetic dentistry might be right for you. This is the term used to describe a variety of elective and necessary treatments that have aesthetics in mind.
