Same story here. My wife and I were patrons here for many years, having 2-3 dinners a month. My wife frequently would go there for lunch as well. The dollar sushi (after 5PM) was the best deal around and this restaurant's version of a dragon roll was our favorite!



I think it was sometime in 2010 that things changed for the worse. Admittedly, many of the items we enjoyed on the previous menu were still available, but others were not. I missed being unable to order just a few tempura pieces for variety or if I just didn't have the room to put away a big meal.



The worst part was the price changes. The exponential increase in price was ridiculous, especially when considering that the cuts of meat/seafood were not increased, and remained meager. To try to justify/alleviate this, Sushi-Thai adopted a buy one / get one free model (certain items only) that had the oily feel of a shell game rife with gotchas. This pricing scheme resulted in usually one of two scenarios - either we'd wind up with a bill horribly high because we ordered what we wanted on the menu, else we'd have to coordinate and compromise on what to get to maximize our discount, which takes a lot of the joy out of a dining experience.



Needless to say, after a few go-rounds with these changes, I don't think we've eaten there more than a 4-5 times over the past couple years so I cannot vouch for the claims of the food quality decline posted here; we only go when we absolutely must have their dragon roll.



Very disappointed.
