Cannot say enough good things about this place!! It's a great feeling knowing how well your kids and their teeth are being cared for. Dr. Dave treats each kid like one of his own. Video games and TV's everywhere to entertain the kids. All of the staff are extremely nice and personable. Never had a bad experience here. Coffee and waters in the waiting room. They definitely go above and beyond! We drive here for on Clayton because we love it here so much!

Front desk staff is rude. Prescribes unnecessary treatments. my child was in pain for week after the treatment. For extraction of a tooth he used nitrogen and gel and needle - 5 times pinch my child with a needle. She was shock , I am shock...Not sure what is happening with this dentist. I know for sure he be never treat his children same way.

P.S. I got email respond from Dr. Slawinski. He didn't ask how is my child doing,,, he told that she never was in pain and my comment on his practice is not true. This is again show to me how this doctor cares!

best dentist visit i have ever been too and it wasnt even for me. my husband and i took my two kids there and it was there first dentist visit ever, and as soon as you walk in i couldn't believe how kid friendly it was. it was nice that my daughter got to play the wii and not worry about what was going to happen. then once we went back they had more tvs and another wii, and tons of tons, my kids felt like they were in a toy store more then a dentist office. dr. dave was very nice to the kids the whole time and when my daughter got scared he stopped and had her help him to make her feel more comfortable, the office staff is wonderful and are all very nice. my husband and i were jealous the whole time wishing we would have had the same childhood expericance at a dentist as they did. both kids left happy, and cant wait to go back. i would recommend this office to everyone, they really know all the small things just to make the kids and us a parents feel at ease.

Dr. Dave is the real deal. My 10yo son had his first visit this week and was excited to see the kids' section of the reception area, which was filled with video games and other fun things to do. After the exam, Dr. Dave called me back to review my son's x-rays, point out problem areas he would monitor (e.g., potential crowding and one area exhibiting early signs of decay), and recommend a game plan for how to proceed. My son has a small chip on his front tooth that could be repaired ($$), but Dr. Dave recommended that I hold off for a few years until my son is less likely to re-damage the tooth with outside play. Not only is his office convenient (just down Six Forks from North Hills Mall), but it is beautiful, too, and features complimentary beverages for the grown-ups! I really appreciated that Dr. Dave and his staff were so personable and genuinely interested in making sure my son's experience was pleasant.

This was the 1st visit to a dentist for my 3yo, and Melissa & Dr. Dave made him feel completely at ease; being able to talk with children and relate to them on their level is really key. From the igloo themed office to the TVs in the ceiling over top of the exam chair & the treasure box at the end of the visit, they have really thought of all the little things that can help make a child more relaxed & intrigued. My 3yo has already told me that his next appointment is coming soon, and that we need to count my teeth too! The rest of my family will be going there as soon as they are old enough - thank you to the staff for making our 1st visit so wonderful! I will be sure to recommend you to all our friends :)

We just got back from Dr. Dave Slawinski's office where he filled 2 of my daughters teeth This was our second visit and I am in awe of how patient and wonderful this denist was. He totally put me and my daughter at ease. He was gentle and kind toward my daughter and she just loved him and his staff. Not to mention he has a VERY cool office with T.V. in the ceilings for the kids to watch. My daughter has had a serious case of dentistry phobia and I thought she was going to be a terror but she did great!He total her, "if you feel any pain at all let me know and I will try something different" The first think my daughter said when she left his office was, "I didn't feel a thing, he is the best denist ever"~ The last two denist she has seen in the past one had to hold her down. Dr. Slawinski explained every thing he was doing to her and even let me go in with her. Which also put my daughter at ease. I can't say enough good about Midtown Pediatric Dentistry. We will NEVER use anyone else but Dr. Dave!
