This is the absolute worst pla...

This is the absolute worst place anyone could go. The physician sit down and immediately told my husband and I how busy he was and he was only going to speak to me about 1 on my issues although I have an old neck and hip injury. He literally refused to talk about my hip and was rude and only shut up once I explained I was a nurse myself. Unless you want to go somewhere and be treated as if you don't matter and have your injury ignored, I would never go here because it was my first and last visit.

Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic

As an employee of ROC, I hear the good, the bad and the ugly from the patients that are seen there. When my husband became a patient there last week, I became aware of how awesome they are from a person vantage point. After 2 days in a trauma center recovering from 7 broken bones, he was ready to be released on Monday afternoon. I called the clinic and was told to bring him in. By the time we got there the clinical staff had pulled all his records and had the paperwork ready (pain meds are wearing off at this point and we needed to get home to rest). Dr Wyker came in from home to see him!!!!! He discussed surgical options in a way that helped us make an informed decision and when we left, the surgery had been scheduled for the next day. Talk about service...

I know I sound biased (and I am, frankly)

In my 18 years working at Raleigh Orthopaedic, I have heard a lot of comments. Now that my family has been on the receiving end of the service, I will join the 5 star commenters of this fabulous clinic.

No return

I had to get a second opinion from Hey Clinic because these guys don't give you the time of day. Not only do you sit the waiting room a while, the doctor spends only 5 minutes with you. My suggestion is to find a doctor that will sit down with you. Did you know that the doctor us the middle man? Meaning that a radiologist writes the reports not the doctor. This doctor or radiologist couldn't see that my L5 has degenerated to the point I have severe arthritis and I'm a degree off from scoliosis. I would never recommend this company. I guess because I don't need many office visits I'm not worth it. Oh and the MRI is charged of $1,073. Not worth it

care is okay, office is awful!

These people don't get it. You'll get plenty of wait time in their awful office. Both Glenwood and Falls locations. Rude office staff and long waits are the normals. Maybe they will get it together some day. The Docs are nice but they need to hire better office staff. Looks like community outreach or something.

Bilateral Knee Replacement

After 10 years of unbelievable knee pain, I was at the point of having to consider giving up my career and mobility, I was seen by Dr. Smith. I had terrible arthritis in both knees. We did all the usual treatments but none of them helped. With Dr. Smith's advise and explanation of what needed to be done I decided to go with the bilateral knee replacements. He was correct in telling me I would probably regret it for the first eight weeks but that after that I would become very glad I had it done. He was absolutely correct. The first eight weeks I called him a few unpleasant names, but now I'm calling him great. My knees are doing well and I am able to work full time, standing most of the time and able to go for long walks with my husband. I cannot thank Dr. Smith and his staff, Jason and Paula, enough for giving me my norrmal life back.

The best thing I ever did

I tore my cartlilage in my knee while playing high school football and had to have open knee surgery. During the next 40 years my knee declined to the point medications didn't work and the steriod injection stopped helping also. At this point I went to see Dr. Vaughn and he recommended a total knee replacement. This has been the best decision I have ever made. My recover was good and best of all no more pain! I am back working full time and finally able to walk with no pain.

Dr. Vaughn, his physican assistant Liz Fuller and his team were wonderful. I could not have asked for better care. They were there to answer any questions throughout my recovery. I would highly recommend Raligh Orthopaedics to anyone.

Raleigh Ortho - Dr Boone

I am the type of person that stays away from doctors but my foot pain got to be unbearable. So, I went to Raleigh Ortho and saw Dr Boone who assured me how he could help my situation. It turned out to be one of my best experiences visiting a doctor and the follow-up after surgery was as he described. There was nothing unexpected.
