1974 ; Sabo N. Sabo, a Hudson Falls School science teacher founded Adirondack Pool Service. 1976 ; Adirondack Pool Service located a retail store in South Glens Falls, New York offering a selection of pool chemicals, pool installations and service. The company incorporated and, reflecting its new product lines, was renamed Adirondack Pools & Service, Inc 1985 ; after outgrowing the South Glens Falls location, the business relocated into a 10, 000 square foot building in Queensbury, New York with an expanded line of products and services, including portable spas. 1992 ; Sabo's youngest son Christopher, who had been with the company for 14 years, was elected President. 2000 ; www.AdirondackPools.com was launchedAdding a new and exciting dimension to Adirondack's regional marketing. 2006 ; the showroom was increased by 2, 500 square feet to better display above ground pools and stock inventory. The showroom now totals nearly 7, 500 square feet and provides our customers with a better understanding of our in-stock product lines. 2007 ; upgraded our website to provide in-house management of its content. This will allow for faster posting of new project photos, a newsletter, and more up-to-date reference materials.
