this group of people are running a scam, illegally towing peoples cars by watching as they are still customers of that same business, this is called (predatory towing) is a major problem in the city they are towing illegally and charging unauthorized fees. Assemblyman Ron Kim has been working with the Legal Aid Society and the city Department of Consumer Affairs to stop these companys from victimizing drivers.

Threatening to charge car owners at least $150-$270 after towing their cars to the storage lot. While it is a bluff it makes it easier to get cash on the spot from the car owner for immediate release of their car.

Not reporting the tow to the police precint. This is required by city council law.

Not actually towing a car to the storage yard. Also required by law. Towers are not allowed to release cars on public streets (outside the parking lot). Release inside the parking lot is allowed for $64.50 + tax. Release at the storage yard is allowed for $136 + storage charges (if over three days) + tax.

Of course overcharging and not accepting credit cards for any transaction are also against the law.

These are just a few of the illegal things that the tow company is doing ......

please report this company to your local police precint and file a complaint with consumer affairs, better business bureu and small claims court as they are being investigated and will eventually be taken to court and ordered to pay for there scams

Scumbag bullies tried to shake us down in community parking lot. Car was slightly in fire lane for 5 minutes. Saw tow truck pull up and they demanded $200 cash only. They stated cc machine wasn't working. The car happened to be parked next to a sign which read the drop fee was $62.50. When I called the scumbag driver out on what the sign said he said his price is $200, and he would be "doing us a favor" by not towing it. I called the cops, who came and got my car dropped for free. They said to watch out for these guys as they are always up to no good. They can also always be found parked right outside of CJ's the community bar on 9th Ave.... Makes you wonder if they are towing cars while intoxicated. Unreal.

Parking lot sniper. JCpenny shoppers beware. Two man setup @ 92-10 59th avenue. One at the mall door and one around the opposite parking lot.

Definitly a grey area based business based on survey at reported location.

I wish I could give this company a minus 10 stars. It is a shame we even have to select one star. They are thieves. They have people watching you if you walk to the corner to meet a friend for lunch at the restaurant in which the lot is in question and they take the car, then bully you into no less than $250.00 to get it back the same day. They followed me into a mental health clinic. I will be filing suit. I asked the host at Lone Star if I could go pick up a patient to bring to lunch and he said yes, but this towing company rules and they are evil!!!!!!! Karma will come.

Done deal towing company is just a scam. They sit in their truck, waiting to tow your car and to get it back, you have to pay OVER $100.00! My friend parked her car by McDonald's, got her car towed by these scammers and she paid the full price, not knowing what to do. I rate this crap buisness 0 stars.

Zero stars. Literally just a scam. They don't have proper paperwork. All it is is just guys with a tow truck who wait for you to park near Olive Garden so they can boot your car and demand cash to take it off. It's extortion. Nothing more nothing less. They will be investigated

The guy that owns the company is sitting in his truck in the parking lot at Elmhurst next to the newly opened Olive Garden (Queens Center) and waiting for drivers to park, leave the car so he can put a boot on the wheel and/or tow the car away. The parking meter does not operate as it is not connected yet to power. He asked me to pay him $135.00 and when I called the Police, it came out that he did not have the proper authorizations to perform this kind of work. He was also supposed to ask for half the price listed if the car is still in the lot but he asked for more that what was listed on the sign. The sign noted a fee of $120 so instead of asking for $60, he asked for $135. He can not apply the booth or tow the car without proper authorization from the property manager. He did not have that approval. He is disrespectful and unprofessional.
